Revegetating the Range

Maintenance & Follow Up
with Greg Smyrell
This is our fifth and final workshop in the Revegetating the Range series. It will be held at "Laughing Waters". Attendance at any or all of the first four workshops is not a pre-requisite to coming along to this one. We will wind up the series of workshops with a look at strategies useful to the all important practice of maintaining your reveg site.
Weed control is paramount - focussing on the right weeds, at the right time, in the right way relative to your site is a key consideration for success. We will also consider in-fill and secondary plantings, thinning and/or pruning dominant species, monitoring progress and addressing problems.
If you have embarked on a native plant revegetation or regeneration project on your property and have reached this point you want to see it flourish, to do so it needs to be nurtured. Come along and pick up some some clues from Greg's wealth of experience in land reclamation!
