Barung Landcare presents another  Gardens for Wildlife Workshop
with Joan Dillon

To be held on Tuesday July 25th,

9 - 12am

Morning tea provided.

You are invited to join us in the Conference Room at the Hinterland Business Centre for our next GfW workshop.  The workshop will be a mixture of theory and practice utilising the garden in front of the Hinterland Business Centre at 38A Coral St as the subject for our continuing attention.

We will be reviewing how our garden is handling the cooler and drier weather.  The Rock daisy (Brachyscome multifida) which was doing so well has unfortunately "turned up its toes" and will be replaced by an as yet to-be-decided species.  Joan has been busy pruning the Native indigo (Indigofera australis var. australis) and the Cat's whiskers (Orthosiphon aristatus) to contain them in their bed.

There will be a discussion on plant selection for the mulched lawn and small triangle garden areas which we will plant up on the day.  We will also lay a path of pavers through the mulch area from the office verandah to the footpath - following due consideration of design constraints.

For those who haven't been involved in the project to date, there will be ample time to catch up on the background and learn about the process so far.

Bookings are essential
