Join us to hand-weed lantana, mist weed and blue-top weed at Coonoona Nature Refuge which contributes to the Mooloolah Range habitat corridor. The landholders have done an excellent job of restoring some impressive rainforest vegetation over many years.
Covid-19 considerations: we will be adhering to social distancing and other government requirements to ensure that we stay safe. Please do not attend if you have any flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with people with these symptoms. Numbers attending will be limited to 20. All tools will be cleaned before use but you’re welcome to bring your own. BRING YOUR OWN CUP, BEVERAGE & SNACK FOR MORNING TEA.
Meet at the back of the IGA carpark in Maleny at 7.30am to share transport or travel independently (call 0448 447322 for directions) for an 8.30am start.
All tools will be provided. Bring gloves, water, boots, sunscreen and insect repellent. Long-sleeved shirt, trousers and hat are essential (Work Place Health and Safety Regulations).
