Barung is a Cane Toad Challenge Affiliate, partnering with Professor Rob Capon and the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, University of Queensland. Professor Capon and his team have developed a chemical lure (Bufo Tabs) to trap cane toad tadpoles.
We will be running a Cane Toad tadpole trap making workshop on Friday 22nd January at the Barung Nursery, Porter's Lane, North Maleny. You will be supplied with materials and guided through the trap making process. You will all receive a set of trap making instructions and those who have an abundance of tadpoles will receive up to 5 Bufo Tabs (baits).
Please wear covered shoes, bring a water bottle.
