Join us to weed trees planted to protect the headwaters of Falls Creek which flows through North Maleny to Lake Baroon. We will also be removing Glycine weed from the wetland surrounds so bring your gumboots.
Covid-19 considerations: we will be adhering to social distancing and other government requirements to ensure that we stay safe. Please do not attend if you have any flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with people with these symptoms. Numbers attending will be limited to 12. All tools will be cleaned before use but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please bring your own morning tea.
Meet at the back of the IGA carpark in Maleny at 7.15am to share transport or travel independently (call 0448 447322 for directions) for an 7.30am start.
All tools will be provided. Bring gloves, water, boots, sunscreen and insect repellent. Long-sleeved shirt, trousers and hat are essential (Work Place Health and Safety Regulations).
