We take a lot of photos of people involved in the many Barung activities, for our own records, for display purposes and newspaper articles. If you agree to having your photo taken and to images being used by Barung, please indicate below. I give permission for my photos to be used

Volunteering at Barung is an experience in both helping and learning. Barung operates with only a small paid staff, but a large number of volunteers.

By being a volunteer you can support Barung’s mission in helping the environment, learn about native Australian plants and ecosystems, gain valuable skills in raising native plants from seeds, and meet like-minded people with an interest in maintaining our environment.

Activities undertaken through volunteering with Barung Landcare are covered by Public Liability Insurance.

It is essential for Barung Landcare to be aware of volunteer personal details to ensure that you are able to effectively participate in the scheduled activities within the organisation without unnecessary risk to your own health or that of other staff and participants. New volunteers please complete the Barung Volunteer Form.

We will always welcome Barung members with particular skills who can assist in areas of their expertise, such as working with plants, customer service and various special projects that Barung runs during the year.
